The Blue Belt

The Blue Belt is a Norwegian fairy tale in which a poor wandering boy secretly keeps an enchanted belt that grants him extraordinary strength. Betrayed by his own mother and left for dead, he must outwit trolls, survive lions, and rescue a captive princess — only to face a final test in a foreign kingdom where suitors pay with their lives. The story builds through escalating danger, with the boy's cunning proving just as vital as his magical power.
