The Cow That Carried A Queen

"The Cow That Carried A Queen" follows a devoted cowmaid whose only duty is tending her mother's black cow, Elfin — a creature marked, it is said, by elves. When Elfin wanders off the familiar road one evening, the maid refuses to abandon her, following through enchanted glens, moonlit forests, and stony hills. Strange dreams visit her at each resting place, and fairies seem to be at work. As the journey leads to a shining city across a swift river, a long-forgotten prophecy begins to stir — and duty, it turns out, has been quietly shaping destiny all along.
