Childe Rowland

Childe Rowland is a classic English fairy tale in which the youngest brother must venture into Elfland to rescue his sister Burd Ellen, snatched away by fairies after she walked widershins around a church. Armed with his father's enchanted sword and two strict warnings from the Warlock Merlin, Rowland faces a twilight kingdom of golden halls and dangerous temptations. Unlike his two brothers before him, who now lie entombed in the Dark Tower, Rowland must keep his wits sharp — and his hunger in check — to face the fearsome King of Elfland.
