The Lady Daffodilia

"The Lady Daffodilia" is a charming fairy tale short story about a tall, idle girl and a clever but short prince whose bickering sends him on a seven-year journey into a dream world. When Prince Brilliant storms off vowing to grow as tall as Daffodilia, the kingdom loses its heir and Daffodilia loses her favourite companion. Left alone in a comfortable castle, she transforms barren grounds into a breathtaking garden while the Prince drifts through rose-coloured dreams. Their reunion hinges on whether growing up means growing wiser — or simply growing at all.
