Secret Halloween

Secret Halloween is a short bedtime story about a sixteen-year-old girl raised in a strict Quaker household who, along with her spirited friend Prudence, secretly slips out on Halloween night to perform an old charm. Armed with mirrors and apples under a starlit sky, the two girls hope to catch a glimpse of their future husbands — but only one of them sees what she was hoping for. Prudence's startling reflection makes for one of the story's most memorable and funny moments.
