A Halloween History

"A Halloween History" traces the origins of Halloween back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, where Druid priests lit sacred bonfires to honor the sun god Baal and ward off restless spirits roaming the earth. On this eerie night, fairies, goblins, and gnomes were said to creep from the forests to play tricks on the living. The story follows the journey of these old beliefs through time, from pagan ritual to Christian feast day, revealing how today's costumes, jack-o'-lanterns, and bonfires echo traditions thousands of years old.
