A Quiet Halloween

A Quiet Halloween is a short story following four girls — Mary, Rita, Florence, and Helen — who decide to skip the usual Halloween antics in favour of a cosy evening at home with popcorn and a spooky book. But as Mary reads aloud, each eerie character in the story seems to materialise at the window, sending the girls into fits of screams. What begins as a peaceful retreat quickly unravels into a night of jolts, laughter, and an unexpected Halloween gathering none of them saw coming.
