The Jellyfish and the Monkey

"The Jellyfish and the Monkey" is a Japanese folk tale set in the underwater palace of Rin Jin, the Dragon King of the Sea, whose beloved queen falls gravely ill. The only cure? The liver of a live monkey. A boastful jellyfish is sent ashore to trick one into making the journey. He nearly succeeds — until a careless question mid-voyage reveals the deadly truth. Now it's the monkey's turn to do the deceiving, and the jellyfish must face the consequences of a mission gone very wrong.
