Chicken Little

Chicken Little is a fable about how unchecked fear and blind trust can lead a whole group to ruin. When a single falling leaf convinces Chicken Little the sky is collapsing, she spreads her panic to Henhouse, Lucky Duck, Dancing Goose, and Turkey Lurkey — each accepting the claim without question and passing it along. The chain of unexamined belief grows until Sly Fox, calm and cunning, offers the frantic group shelter in his den, where every last one of them meets a grim fate.
