The Knight of the Bright Star

"The Knight of the Bright Star" is a fairy tale short story about Prince Lorenzo, a once-wealthy young royal living in exile after his father's kingdom was conquered. Armed with enchanted armor and a silver star tied to his mother's parting wisdom, he sets out into the world. In the glittering City of Pleasure, Lorenzo loses himself to comfort and wealth — and watches his guiding star grow dim. The story follows his quiet reckoning as he chooses between revenge and selflessness, and discovers what the star truly measures.
