Prince Roul’s Bride

Prince Roul's Bride is a fairy tale about a prince who risks everything to marry Leta, a poor girl living alone in the woods, rather than choose from the royal princesses his father parades before him. When the king orders his servants to drive Leta away, Roul sweeps her onto his horse and they flee through the forest with the king's men closing in. At the edge of a clifftop above a crashing sea, a forgotten gift from a grateful fairy transforms their desperate leap into something extraordinary.
