A Christmas Fairy

A Christmas Fairy is a short story about two schoolboys facing a lonely holiday season far from home. Tom, whose parents are in India, expected to spend Christmas alone at Miss Ware's boarding school — until his friend Bertie invited him along. Then Bertie's own plans collapse when his sister falls ill with scarlet fever. Stranded together in an empty school, the two boys lean on each other through their disappointment, unaware that an unexpected visitor is about to transform their Christmas entirely.
