The Wolf And The Lamb | Aesop Fables

From the podcast Ririro.com - Kids Stories (6-10 Years)

·01:43
In this fable, a hungry wolf encounters an innocent lamb drinking from a stream and decides to eat it. To justify his actions, the wolf makes a series of false accusations: first, that the lamb is muddying the water (impossible as the lamb is downstream), then that the lamb spoke ill of him last year (impossible as the lamb wasn't born yet), and finally blames the lamb's family. Despite the lamb logically refuting each claim, the wolf ignores reason and truth, declaring he won't be denied his meal, and carries the helpless lamb away, illustrating that tyrants or those determined to do wrong will always find a pretext for their actions, regardless of justice or innocence.
