The North Wind And The Sun | Aesop Fables

From the podcast Ririro.com - Kids Stories (6-10 Years)

·01:25
In this fable, the North Wind and the Sun argue over who is stronger, deciding to settle it by seeing who can make a passing traveler remove his cloak. The North Wind blasts the traveler with cold, harsh winds, but this only makes the man wrap his cloak tighter. In contrast, the Sun shines gently at first, then gradually increases its warmth, causing the traveler to feel hot and willingly take off his cloak. The story demonstrates for children that gentle persuasion and kindness (like the Sun) are often more effective than force and bluster (like the North Wind).
