Christmas Greens

Christmas Greens is a short story set in a garland-draped manor alive with the scents of pine, cedar, and holly during the festive season. At the heart of the celebration hangs a portrait of a mysterious young woman — regal yet disguised in a beggar's cloak. When Cousin, the family's storyteller, is called upon to explain her presence, he reveals the tale of a princess who ventures alone into danger to rescue her kidnapped father, armed with nothing but courage, wit, and a hidden heirloom.
