Baa The Second | Moral Tale

This story follows two young sisters, Tilda and Patty, who notice sheep suffering from thirst during long train journeys. Despite exhaustion and mockery, they faithfully carry water to the animals each day. Their persistent compassion catches the attention of Miss Alice, who, armed with information the girls found about a law requiring animal welfare, brings the issue to her influential father and the railroad president. Moved by the girls' dedication and the obvious need, the officials ensure proper watering facilities are installed. The tale highlights how children's empathy, determination, and simple acts of kindness can inspire adults, lead to significant positive change, and ultimately be rewarded, as the girls receive community support and two pet lambs for their efforts.
