Greta and the Black Cat

"Greta and the Black Cat" is a fairy tale short story about a girl found abandoned in the forest and raised by a woodsman's unkind family. Treated as a servant by Martha and Robert, young Greta flees after being forced beyond her limits — and deep in the woods she encounters a wounded black cat who can speak. What begins as a small act of compassion draws Greta into a world of witches, fairies, and a prince under a curse, where her kindness alone holds the power to change everything.
