Bluebeard | A Cruel Fairy Tale

Bluebeard, a wealthy but ugly man, marries a young woman, but he gives her keys to all rooms in his mansion except one, forbidding her to enter it. Overcome with curiosity, she disobeys and discovers the bodies of his previous wives in the forbidden room. Bluebeard returns unexpectedly, finds out she entered the room, and threatens to kill her. However, her brothers arrive and kill Bluebeard instead. Bluebeard's wife inherits his wealth, helps her family, and later remarries a nice man, leaving the traumatic experience behind.
