The Three Frogs | Adventure stories

This story follows the contrasting fates of three frog siblings. Hop leaves home seeking adventure, but encounters dangers like carts, a cat, and a snake, leading to his demise. Croak, vain and proud of his singing, is captured, mistreated, and eventually killed when he's mistaken as food for an old gentleman. Splash, kind and content, stays home, helping others. Her good nature and helpfulness impress the Frog Prince, who, disguised as a beggar, observes her kindness and chooses her as his queen. The story contrasts the tragic outcomes of seeking fame and adventure with the rewards of a humble, helpful life.
