Little Bo-Peep Has Lost Her Sheep | Classic Fairy Tales

Little Bo-Peep, a young shepherdess, loses her sheep after a strange old woman distracts her and tricks her into believing they will return wagging their tails. Bo-Peep later finds the sheep tailless, leading her on a quest to recover them. She discovers a bunch of tails drying on a tree and tries to sew them back onto her sheep. The old woman reveals that the tails actually belong to cats and teaches Bo-Peep a lesson about assuming that she knows everything, as sheep don't have long tails to begin with.
