The scarecrow and the tin woodman | Oz Fairy Tales

In the Land of Oz, the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman, best friends, decide to take a boat ride in a corncob boat. When the Tin Woodman falls overboard, the Scarecrow attempts to rescue him, but his straw body makes diving difficult. They seek help from a group of crows, who devise a plan to lift the Tin Woodman using a fishing line. However, the Scarecrow accidentally ties the other end of the line around his waist, resulting in both of them being hoisted into the air and suspended from a tall tree. Eventually, they fall. The Wizard of Oz appears on his Sawhorse, rescues the Scarecrow from a bramble-bush, and helps oil the Tin Woodman's rusted joints, allowing them to return safely. The story emphasizes the importance of friendship and problem-solving, even in bizarre situations.
