A Christmas Carol (Short Version)

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens follows Ebenezer Scrooge, a cold and miserly businessman who despises Christmas and treats those around him with contempt. When three ghosts visit him on Christmas Eve — showing him painful memories of his past, the quiet suffering of his underpaid bookkeeper Bob Cratchit and his gravely ill son Tiny Tim, and a bleak vision of the future — Scrooge is forced to confront the damage his hardened heart has caused. Can a single night unravel a lifetime of cruelty?
