The Blue Castle

The Blue Castle is a fairy tale about a courageous peasant boy who sets out to rescue Princess Lily, stolen as a newborn by a vengeful witch who was refused her yearly bag of gold. To reach her, the peasant must outwit a fearsome ogre, a two-headed dog, and a sinking field of magic pearls — armed with little more than a feather and his wits. When he finally finds the princess trapped inside a windowless castle of deep-blue glass, the real mystery of her curse has only just begun to unravel.
