Sparrow's search for the rain | Folk Tales For Kids

After a proud woman insults the village men, they cause Whirlwind and his blind friend Rain to leave, resulting in drought and stillness. Fox and Bear fail to find them, but Sparrow uses a feather to locate them in a lush southern land. He convinces them to return, and they are welcomed back, restoring balance to the land. As a reward, sparrows are protected by the tribe and recognized as harbingers of rain.
