Rapunzel | Classic Fairy Tales

"Rapunzel" is a classic fairy tale about a woman who craves rapunzels from a witch's garden, leading her husband to promise their child to the witch in exchange for the plant. The witch names the girl Rapunzel and locks her in a tower, using her long hair to climb up. A prince discovers Rapunzel and plans to rescue her, but she accidentally reveals the prince's visits to the witch. The witch cuts Rapunzel's hair, abandons her in a desolate place, and blinds the prince. After years of wandering, the prince finds Rapunzel and their twins, and her tears restore his sight. They return to the prince's kingdom and live happily ever after. The story emphasizes themes of love, betrayal, perseverance, and the power of true love to overcome adversity.
