Sunshine and her siblings

"Sunshine and Her Siblings" is a short story by Louisa M. Alcott in which Mother Nature's children — Sunshine, Rain, Northwind, Snow, and their rowdy siblings — are left to manage the world while their mother sleeps through winter. Sunshine tries her best to keep peace, but Rain, Eastwind, and Hail refuse to behave, unleashing floods and bitter cold. The story follows Sunshine's quiet determination to restore order before spring arrives and Mother Nature wakes to see what her children have done.
