Bedtime, Anytime Stories for Children - The Little Mermaid, a fantasy under the sea

Hello from the Classic Stories for Children podcast.
We bring you narrations of classic children's stories of all kinds to keep your young ones entertained, read with love by a professional voice actress. The themes range from animal stories, to stories that teach, to classic favourites like Tom Thumb, Red Riding Hood and more.

This time we bring you part 1 of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. It's the story of a beautiful young mermaid who wanted, with all of her heart, to be human. But sacrifices had to be made! There will be 3 parts, parts 2 and 3 will be broadcast in subsequent episodes.

This is the original story and it’s not the Disney version. It’s a wee bit darker!

So cuddle up to your little ones, settle in, have a listen and enjoy.
